Saturday, July 2, 2005, was an incredible day for Concertphiles around the globe. Ten concerts had been held across several times zones to promote the objective of Live 8. If one could not be in London's Hyde Park, then Vienna, Virginia, was a suitable substitute.
Graeme Edge, Justin Hayward, and John Lodge, collectively known as the Moody Blues, appeared at the Wolf Trap Filene Center before a sold out venue. Out on the walk, concert tickets for this performance were either sold or given away as musical invitations for blessed Concertphiles.
Moody fans were treated to another stellar summer evening of musical magic by this trio of musicians that has been entertaining audiences for almost four decades. Days Of Future Passed, released in 1967, was the bandıs first album, introducing their special brand of music to the world. A legion of fans have been following the band enjoy the sound of the Moody Blues in concert.
Rock'n Roll as a form of modern music enveloped the world's consciousness as Live 8 was hosted on stages across the world. The global village tuned in for one glorious day of celebratory vibrations for a singular theme of peace. Moody Blues music struck a harmonious chord for those present at their performance.
