Appreciating a timeless Trio
Baltimore's faithful fans are charmed by the Moody Blues

by Timothy Tilghman

The Moody Blues appeared at the Lyric Opera House in Baltimore, Maryland, on Monday, April 21, 2008. Justin Hayward, John Lodge and Graeme Edge continue to entertain their loyal legion of fans with their catalogue of hits and history. The trio tours with a cast of supporting musicians that embellish the sound of the band live on stage.

Seeing the Moodies in concert is like listening to an old friend and hearing his musical tales. With a career spanning across five decades, the Moody Blues weave their material to perform an engaging setlist and present some of their obscure songs in an enhanced manner on stage.

Baltimore setlist: Lovely To See You * Tuesday Afternoon (Forever Afternoon ) * Lean On Me (Tonight) * Never Comes The Day * Steppin' In A Slide Zone * The Voice * One More Time To Live * I Know You're Out There Somewhere * The Story In Your Eyes * intermission * Your Wildest Dreams * Isn't life Strange * The Other Side Of Life * December Snow * Higher And Higher * Are You Sitting Comfortably? * I'm Just A Singer (In A Rock & Roll Band) * Late Lament > Knights In White Satin * Question * Encore: Ride My See-Saw
